The Trade Bully

This is how a man acts who thinks trade is a zero-sum game war.

I think that China felt they were being beaten so badly in the recent negotiation that they may as well wait around for the next election, 2020, to see if they could get lucky & have a Democrat win - in which case they would continue to rip-off the USA for $500 Billion a year....

Trump has no understanding of the benefits of free trade even if opposing countries act as protectionists.

If opposing countries act as protectionists, it means more production, at cheaper prices, directed our domestic market. The losers are the consumers in the protectionist countries.

By slapping on tariffs and "battling" other countries in trade, Trump is making the U.S. a protectionist country and acting as a trade bully.
