The Kamala Harris $100 Billion Early-Stage Socialist Housing Plan for Blacks

And the march toward advocacy of more socialist intervention in the economy continues.

Democratic presidential candidates are trying to out-compete each other with socialist-type give-away plans. Most prominently a number have called for universal healthcare.

Now presidential candidate Kamala Harris at the 25th annual Essence Fest in New Orleans announced a $100 billion plan to fund black homeownership. She calls the plan the "Combatting the Racial Homeownership Gap."

Her website explains:

A sign of economic justice in our country is the distribution of wealth, which is the measure of a person’s or family’s financial net worth... Today, nearly three-quarters of white households (73%) are homeowners, while under half of Black households (45%) and Latinx households (47%) are homeowners.  This percentage of Black homeowners has remained basically unchanged since 1968.

Of course, the historically and theoretical economics challenged Harris team does not seem to recognize the irony of citing the year 1968. The Fair Housing Act was passed in 1968.

It prohibited discrimination concerning the sale, rental and financing of housing based on race, religion, national origin or sex.

Helluva a government interventionist plan that worked out to be.

The fact of the matter is that blacks, because they are so dependent on government, starting often with inner-city government schools, rarely have a chance.

The gap is between those dependent to a large degree on government and those who exist away from government handouts. If you stay away from government handouts, you learn how to survive and thrive.

What is needed for blacks in America is the shutdown of so-called government "services" and "aid," not more such scam "services" that line the pockets of only the crony (mostly white) rich who are close to government officials.

Harris is acting like a white liberal who tries to help the blacks with these plans of hers. This might not be so surprising. Harris' mother immigrated from India and her father is Jamaican and, according to him, his ancestors owned slaves.

Malcolm X understood the liberal scam:

All Harris is trying to do here is buy votes and keep blacks dependent on her and the government.

Blacks will never get anywhere with this kind of dependency. It is worse than a drug dependency.

But it is not only bad for the black community. It is another early-stage socialist program that creates the impression that government is the solution rather than the disease.
