Too much money in politics for sure. Way too much money for these political mouth pieces in the MSM. They would be over paid if their salaries were the $1.50 available to each person in the US from Bloomberg’s $500 million in ads.
Math and and facts do not matter. They want to create an image in people's minds. Those images usually get rooted so deep that people become fact and math resistant. They hold the view that got put into them through these crafted images.
Thus I am not sure this was a mistake or stupidity. It may be deliberate.
BTW, I would rather have had a $1.53 sent me than the bloomberg campaign mail spam I received. Given mass printing costs and postage that may have cost more than $1.53.
