Trump Asks Rand Paul to Join Task Force on Reopening Economy

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) has announced that President Trump has appointed him to a bipartisan congressional task force that will help consider the safest ways and best timing to reopen the economy..

 “I am pleased to be joining the bipartisan task force on reopening the economy. Together with President Trump, we will get this economy roaring once again. We need to let Americans get safely back to work and bring prosperity to this nation anew,” said Rand.

    If any one has the credentials, it's Rand Paul - Medical Doctor and Business Owner, Senator, and COVID-19 survivor. I hope he promotes localized vs centralized solutions (one-size-fits-all) and also proposes cutting or eliminating the Federal and State minimum wage laws, Federal income taxes, any business taxes, etc.

      He's only there to legitimize the recommendations or delegitimize opposition. By giving the "that government is best than governs least" crowd representation on the task force Trump makes it look like everyone contributes.

    It's too hilarious that Trump has the governors in a quandary, damned if they do, damned if they don't: the governors are fighting over who can re-open businesses or when because they don't want him to take any credit but they are stuck with the blame if things worsen.
