A Reminder to Keep Cash Under Your Bed

I occasionally remind EPJ Daily Alert readers to keep between three months and six months' worth of income in cash at home under the bed.

You just never know in these crazy times when you are not going to be able to get cash from your bank or your ATM and if you have cash at that time you will be king.

A tiny reminder of the soundness of this practice is what is going on currently in New York City (see picture above).

It is apparently related to unemployment benefit debit cards and Keybank in NYC but it is also occurring in Oakland, CA where Antifa destroyed most of the ATMs in the downtown area.
