I have never seen Geithner fly across the globe for meetings that were not part of a major global event. Either he has a Fraulein tucked away in Deutschland, or he needs to straighten the Germans about something, pronto.
He will also discuss global efforts to impose sanctions applying maximum pressure on the Qadhafi regime, as well as sanctions against Iran for its failure to meet its international obligations.
