Even in the age of YouTube, this is pretty stunning. This is the response of Patrick Clawson, who heads the Washington Institute’s Iran Security Initiative, in response to a question about what should happen if negotiations with Tehran fail.

  1. Well sweet Jesus, there it all is in one tidy package.

I don't know whether to be happy that our masters are finally coming out and saying it...or sad that they fear absolutely no one and are so willing to kill innocents in their quest for power.

    1. Yeah, what does it say about the American people that Obama feels confident openly asserting the power to jail or kill anyone, anywhere, without charges or trial? And that the so-called opposition approves? Americans are a degraded lot. They'll still go and vote for these cretins, and vote for their own enslavement.

    2. I guess this would be a surprise to your average neo-con minion that pretends to be (or even really thinks he is in favor of small government).

The truth is that nobody will see that video that doesn't already know it is Standard Operating procedure for the governemnt to lie about all the big casus belli..inculding 9/11.

the unaware people will not wake up without some serious introspection ...perhaps this will spark investigation and introspection amongst another .1% of the population already on the edge...or maybe not.

  3. These people are nutbags. Honestly. They just need to be laughed off the stage. Or at least tell the Arab world to not involve regular people in this.

  4. @ 1:43...

"We are in the game. Of using covert means against the Iranians."

NO. YOU are in the game of doing that. You and your fascist friends. Keep ME out of YOUR little cowboy and indian play date circle jerk.

  5. I think most of us have a disconnect when we encounter absurdities like this. On the surface it seems so matter of fact, innocent maybe, as he stands there and says in effect that we will need to kill some Americans to get this war under way. Of course, he's not advocating this, understand, but "just for the sake of argument", we could do this "to promote American interests".

This man will go home tonight, kiss his wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/children/pet (did I leave anyone out?) and sleep well thinking what a great job he did at the press conference today, never understanding (or perhaps fully understanding), as Anonymous 10:59am stated, "they are so willing to kill innocents in their quest for power." Mr. Clawson has never, and will never hear a shot fired in anger. His life will never be on the line. He will not hold the torn bleeding body of his dead buddy in his arms. He will not come home in a flag draped coffin. Welcome to Washington, D.C. - cesspool of the world.

This is how they have always exercised control, and up to now it has invariably worked. Create an incident, say attack a boat in the Gulf of Tonkin, or kill 3000 of us in New York, or kill an ambassador, lay the blame on the intended victim[s] (even if you have to make them up), wave the flag, rally public sentiment, and send our kids marching proudly (willingly) into the meat grinder, truly believing they are defending America, when in fact they are simply chess pieces being moved on the global chessboard for reasons they don't and are not meant to understand.

These are not immoral people who know the difference between right and wrong, they are amoral people that have no morals at all. They will crash a plane, blow up a building, or assassinate anyone who gets in their way. The fact that this makes us recoil, is testament to our understanding that this is totally and fundamentally wrong.

"Anyone who has the power to make you believe absurdities has the power to make you commit injustices." Voltaire
