Known Female Close to Petraeus


Paula Broadwell has written a biography of Petraeus,  All In: The Education of General David Petraeus.

Most recent story by Broadwell on Petraeus was on the day before the election, General David Petraeus’s Rules for Living.


Broadwell graduated number one in physical fitness in West Point’s Class of 1995, a class whose size numbers 1015 with 87% men.

    She went to the US Military Academy from 91 to 95, so I am guessing she is around 40ish I am guessing.

  2. I like the close: "embedded with the general..." I suppose ellipses serve the same purpose as the old "train enters the tunnel" bit from Hitchcock.

    Plausible explanation, from my wife: 'Take the hit next week at the Senate testimony, or we spill the beans.' Petraeus: 'No, and I will spill the beans myself.'

    1. Then why won't he testify!?!?

      From what I've read, he has "personal code" and this is consistent...but I rarely believe the BS. CIA directors are not picked for their beliefs- just their willingness to support TPTB.
