Murray Rothbard: "I need a lot of things baby"

  1. Reminds me of a Facebook discussion I had with a promoter of Jacque Fresco's "resource based economy" (thevenusproject.com). All resources are to be owned by a central authority. If you want something, you just ask for it and you will get it. No money needs to change hands. But when I asked him, "What if everybody wants to drive a brand new Jaguar?" he had no answer. He soon unfriended me.

  2. Has anyone heard about the zeitgeist movement? I had this exact same conversation with one of its supporters.

  3. Unfortunately, we don't live in a post-scarcity world. Oh, unless we're in Congress...

  4. I've heard about this from some economically ignorant "libertarians". I get so irritated with some people who claim to be libertarians but are really just dim witted socialist utopians. Read "economics in one lesson" people!
