Murray Rothbard On Socialism and Why It's Dead From The Neck Up

  1. And yet there are numerous socialists in academia. The social sciences, from Geography to Women's studies, and the Humanities, from English to Art History, are absolutely filled with them. They read a few chapters from Marx and Engles and are sold on the exploitation theory of capitalism, never understanding that the theory's foundational proposition, the labor theory of value, is fundamentally flawed.

I'm currently reading Mises's Socialism - a thorough refutation of the theory. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in the theory, proponent or otherwise.
