They read a few chapters from Marx and Engles and are sold on the exploitation theory of capitalism, never understanding that the theory's foundational proposition, the labor theory of value, is fundamentally flawed.
I'm currently reading Mises's Socialism - a thorough refutation of the theory. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in the theory, proponent or otherwise.
