New One Hundred Dollar Bill Coming

The Federal Reserve Board announced today that a redesigned $100 note will begin circulating on October 8, 2013.  This note, which incorporates new security features such as a blue, 3-D security ribbon.

The new design for the $100 note was unveiled in 2010, but its introduction was postponed following an unexpected production delay.

  1. I wonder when they will call in all the old ones to exchange for new ones?

  2. I find it somewhat ironic that all the security features are intended to prevent counterfeiting, while at the same time our central bank is creating $85 billion out of nothing every month to monetize the debt.

    1. "It hurts everyone when you do it, but when I do it, it is good for the economy." -- Likely Ben Bernanke quote

  3. Lets just call it what it is: counterfeiting

    No more, no less.

    Anti-Fed to the max.

  4. Oh Good!!! Fresh toilet paper, I was getting tired of the old...
