Paul Krugman believes the following about the newest government albatross:
"...the real, lived experience of Obamacare is likely to be one of significantly increased individual freedom."Orwell would be smiling.
When the BIG LAUNCH finally arrived on October 1, Krugman would not let a few "glitches" spoil the party. In fact, he titled his blog post: "Good glitches":
So, very early reports are that Obamacare exchanges are, as expected, having some technical glitches on the first day — maybe even a bit worse than expected, because it appears that volume has been much bigger than predicted.Just "some technical glitches," that's all. And Krugman assured everyone:
The glitches will get fixed...Few know this, but along with winning the Nobel Prize in Economics, Krugman also invented the Internet....or was that Al Gore? Or was Krugman the PC? In any case, he knows "it will get fixed".
Well, when the tally came in, a grand total of 6 people (!!!) were able to sign up on that first day. Thank goodness it wasn't anything more than some "glitches"...Can you imagine?
A few weeks later, Krugman titles a blog post "Obamacare Success". In it he says:
"Obviously they messed up the programming big time, which is kind of a shock. But this will get fixed..."Krugman, the IT guy, continues to affirm that the hard-working government contractors are toiling away with their hammers and wrenches, and it will "get fixed":
Now lets move to 1 month after the BIG LAUNCH. Krugman now says (my emphasis):
If the bugs in healthcare.gov get fixed, Dems will be running on a successful program that has given millions of Americans coverage that used to be out of their reach.Wait a second!! Stop the tape!!!
IF ??
IF the "bugs" get fixed??
Americans are waiting for their "significantly increased individual freedom"....It better "get fixed"!
Let's go! Up the hammer budget! Up the screwdriver budget!
Send in more government workers!

Chris, where did you get that $500 million number from? You forgot to factor in the 2X times government inefficiency budget multiplier.
