Rick Perry has just completed a brief press conference where he called the charges against him outrageous and politically motivated. He send he will fight the charges and will hold those responsible for bringing the charges.
UPDATE
In the six-minute press conference, Perry went on to call the indictment against him "this farce of a prosecution," and blamed it on "partisan political theatrics."
"I wholeheartedly and unequivocally stand behind my veto, and will continue to defend this lawful action of my executive authority as governor," he said.
The immediate next step for Perry, though, will be for him to turn himself in to Travis County jail and have a mugshot taken.
