Stocks Soar by 11% After Aid to Banks
On the belief that the world will now be flooded with new money, stocks soared today with the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbing 936.42 points to close at 9,387.61.
The S.&P. 500 posted a gain of 11.6 percent, its largest since the Great Depression, to close at 1,003.35
