This morning Treasury Secretary Geithner will hold a meeting of the President’s Working Group on Financial Markets, a.k.a. the Plunge Protection Team, at the Treasury.
This is the second meeting of the PPT under Geithner. The PPT includes the Secretary of the Treasury, who serves as its chairman, and the Chairmen of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
