So Who Supports the Ron Paul "Audit the Fed" Bill?

The Fed is definitely running scared of the audit legislation, but who exactly is supporting this bill?

Dean Baker fills us in:

...a bill sponsored by representatives Ron Paul and Alan Grayson, which would require the Government Accountability Office to audit the Fed. This measure, which is supported by both the most progressive and most conservative members of the House, has the support of more than 250 members of the House.

If this bill picks up any more traction, the left wing is standing by to takeover the actual audit.

Judging from recent comments I have heard Ron Paul make, I think he realizes this.

This bill is a great tool to harass the Fed, and I sure would like to know what they are hiding, but if it gets anywhere near implementation, the extreme left is going to use the audit to change the Fed, and not for the good.

  1. You crack me up with your "Left Wing" generalization and fearmongering. You don't know what the hell you're talking about, yet you spew your hatred and innuendo out of sheer ignorance all the while hoping none of your sheep will question your ignorance.
40 years of failed Conservative policies and you still don't get it.
Blind trust in ideology is a sign of a weak-minded individual, and from your posts, you fit that mold very, very well.
    Grow up and wake up.

It's Not Left vs. Right but Authority vs. Liberty

Sounds like your calling the kettle black to me.
