Secretary Geithner will travel to Pittsburgh tomorrow to attend the G-20 Summit hosted by President Obama September 24-25, 2009.
On Thursday afternoon, he will hold a bilateral meeting with Japanese Finance Minister Hirohisa Fujii. Finance Minister Fujii took office earlier this month; this is the first meeting of the two officials.
Later, Secretary Geithner will hold a bilateral meeting with Chinese Vice Premier Wang Quishan.
Thursday evening, Secretary Geithnerwill host a welcoming dinner for the finance ministers.
On Friday morning, Secretary Geithner will join President Obama for the G-20 plenary session.
Later, the Secretary will host G20 finance ministers for a working lunch.
