The Senate Banking Committee holds hearings today on the reconfirmation of Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke. Expect performances from some members of the Senate committee to equal if not exceed a World Wrestling Federation performance. But, just like the WWF, this shouldn't be taken too seriously. It's all show. No one is going to get hurt. The Senators are all just striving for 2 minutes and 10 seconds of youtube viral fame.
When the bodyslams and headkicks are complete, Bernanke will be reconfirmed, even if the reconfirmation heads to overtime, thanks to a Bernie Sanders last minute block.
The Bernie block will make Bernanke sweat just a little bit more because anything can happen in overtime, but all the heavy money is still on a Bernanke reconfirmation.
