A U.S. Senate panel will vote Dec. 17 on Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke’s nomination to serve a second term as head of the central bank, the Senate Banking Committee said Tuesday, according to WSJ.
Sen. Jim Bunning (R, Ky.) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) have said they would place a “hold” on his nomination.
Stay tuned.
Heavy money still says he will get elected, but Bernanke is sweating.
