BLS Asian Employment Data

I have always been curious as to why Asian employment data is not seasonally adjusted by the BLS, while all other ethnic groups and many other categories are.

With a few minutes on my hands, I contacted the BLS. Here's what they told me:

Asian employment data will be seasonally adjusted once BLS has collected [enough] months of data to confirm seasonal patterns. Asian employment levels were first published in January 2000.
