It's Over, Brown Wins, Coakley Concedes

Democratic candidate Martha Coakley has called Scott Brown and conceded the race. Republican Scott Brown will be the new Senator from Massachusetts, filling the seat left vacant by the death of the liberal Democrat Ted Kennedy.

It is, of course, a huge rejection of President Obama and his interventionist plans. How will he react? Will he use the huge powers of the federal government at his beck and call to muscle his plans forward? Does he roll over? I don't think roll over is in his blood.

I think we are going to now see the real Obama. It might not be pretty.

At the same time, the positive energy is flowing for anti-big government Americans. It will move far beyond middle-of-the-road Scott Brown. Change is coming.

  1. Pure political theater- a real cliffhanger!

And while everyone is distracted by the reality-show-turned-soap-opera, the next piece is moved into place.

Sure, things are coming unraveled at a quickening pace, but not in the way it is portrayed with the right-vs-left spectrum.

I imagine the aware observer in capital cities nationwide are observing strange or new patterns.

We truly live in astonishing times.
