Rogers International Commodity Index Committee Adjusts Index Weights

Jim Rogers and Beeland Interests, Inc. have announced the following adjustments to the Rogers International Commodity Index® (RICI®).

The RICI Committee reduced the weight of Soybean Oil to 2.00% from 2.17%, ICE CA Canola to 0.75% from 0.77%, and Orange Juice to 0.60% from 0.66%. The RICI Committee also added European Rapeseed at the weight of 0.25% and to allocate Wheat 6% to CBOT and 1% to KCBT (formerly 7% CBOT). These adjustments will be implemented during the January 2010 roll period and re-evaluated by the RICI Committee at its next annual meeting in December 2010.

The RICI customarily represents the value of a compendium (or "basket") of globally traded commodities (36 upon effecting these adjustments) employed in the global economy, ranging from agricultural and energy products to metals and minerals. The RICI and its various sub-indexes are used by many investment banks and investors throughout the world. The RICI has increased by over 225% since inception in 1997.
