I hear Iris Mack, who was fired from her position at Harvard Management Corp after trying to warn then Harvard president Larry Summers about the dangerous derivatives trading strategies that HMC was employing with the Harvard endowment money, is putting together a book proposal.
Ultimately, Mack proved correct about her warning. The endowment lost billions because of the trading. And Summers moved on to become top economic adviser to President Obama.
All of which means, the book is likely to be a best seller at the Harvard Coop, among Harvard alumni and in the West Wing of the White House.
Ben Bernanke might even find it entertaining reading.
