A Busy Day for Geithner

On Thursday morning, Treasury Secretary Geithner will host a roundtable discussion at Treasury to hear from military advocacy groups and Department of Defense personnel about the core consumer protection issues facing service members and their families. "The group will discuss how the Administration’s financial reform and consumer protection priorities will benefit military families."
At 1:30pm, Secretary Geithner will testify before the House Appropriations Committee State and Foreign Operations Subcommittee, where he will discuss the President’s FY2011 Budget Request for the Treasury Department’s international programs and "the important role they play in fostering economic growth at home and abroad and advancing our national security interests. "

Later, Secretary Geithner will meet with Senator Durbin (D-IL) to discuss economic recovery.
Deputy Secretary Wolin has the big play, again. In the afternoon, he will meet with Pakistan Finance Advisor Dr. Hafeez Shaikh and Finance Secretary Salman Siddique at Treasury.
