Greece in Upheval

As the Greek parliament passed a series of spending cuts and tax hikes as part of a $6.5 billion so-called "austerity package" that will bailout holders of Greek debt, the citizenry rioted.

Even a top official of the nation's largest trade union was attacked outside parliament by some of his members, who claimed he had sold out to the Greek government.

  1. Shades to come, elsewhere?

One wonders who will step from the shadows, politically, to take advantage of the discontent.
