The insane Jerry Rubin. They don't make anti-war protesters like this anymore. Substitute Afghanistan and Iraq for Vietnam and you may know why he was accidentally hit by a car before the current wars heated up.
He is rude, obnoxious and a pinko commie lover. But he is also a radical anti-authority type (well, anything that isn't commie authority, anyway) and I guess I wonder, if Phil Donahue is part of the machine and he is putting a calm, polite face on policies and ideas which are inherently violent and unreasonable, why should someone, anyone, treat those notions with respectful consideration?
Isn't it absurd to try to reason with a child throwing a tantrum?
