Of all the people I know, no one is more concerned about healthcare reform in the US than my British wife. Having grown up with the NHS and having gotten used to American healthcare over the past 7 years, she's all-too-aware of what the US stands to lose. I suspect most Britons that champion the NHS have simply never had experience with another system.
