While Papandreou Tours, Greek Police Storm Government Printing Headquarters

While Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou tours the world hoping to find money, and promising every last euro of working Greeks money as collateral, the Greek police have taken things into their own hands. They have stormed the Greek printing headquarters in Athens, reports Russian news services.

Greek police want to prevent the official publication of the text of the law that will add new stringent economic measures that include spending cuts and tax hikes. These are the exact measures that Papandreou is claiming on his world tour that he will use to pay off Greek debt . But, according to the laws in Greece, passed law can only come into force after publication in the official newspaper of the Government of Greece, which does not appear will occur anytime soon given the police actions.
