Fabrice Tourre, the Goldman Sachs banker at the center of fraud allegations against the firm, will appear before the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigationsreports Bloomberg.
Tourre, accused by the SEC of misleading investors in a collateralized debt obligation deal, will appear before the committee on April 27 at the same time as Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankefein, said the people, who declined to be identified because the plan isn’t public, according to Bloomberg. Tourre, 31, will tell the panel he did nothing wrong, according to Bloomberg sources. He is currently on leave from the firm.
