Before his defection in 1989, Dr. Yuri Maltsev was a top economic advisor in the Soviet Union working on Gorbachev's Perestroika team.
He is perhaps the only person in the world to brief senior leaders in both the USA and USSR during the final years of the Cold War.
He is an ardent and articulate educator of the evils of Socialism and of the Miracle of Prosperity that comes from Freedom, Cooperation and Free Markets.
....Plus, he is very funny and very entertaining!
Yuri appears regularly on national television, has authored five books and hundreds of articles, and travels all over the world lecturing about history, economics, and socialism. Currently, he also teaches economics at Carthage College.
