As expected, Rand Paul has won the Republican Party nomination for U.S. Senate seat from Kentucky.
During the general election, he will face either Democratic Lieutenant Governor Daniel Mongiardo or Kentucky state Attorney General. Jack Conway
The latest Rasmussen Reports (May 3) telephone survey of Likely Voters in Kentucky shows Paul earning 48% support to 32% for Mongiardo. When his opponent is Conway, Paul captures 47% of the vote to the Democrat’s 38%.
