A Bed Bug Victim Tax Credit

I'm all for tax cuts, so why not?

An Upper West Side NYC Assemblywoman, Linda B. Rosenthal, has introduced legislation that would give bedbug victims a 15 percent tax credit, for up to $750.

She has it tied in with a wacky bed bug disclosure reg (can't they just spray and kill the critters?), but the tax credit I like.

  1. Why not? Because tax credits reinforce the notion that government has the right to redistribute my hard earned money. In this case to people who should be solving their bed bug problems with their own money.

This kind of thinking empowers people like Elizabeth Warren.
