Benanke Watched the Nationals New Phenom

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, who has season tickets to the Washington Nationals baseball team, was in attendance last night for the debut of the Nats pitching phenom, Stephen Strasburg.

Strasburg struck out 14 Pittsburgh Pirates in the seven innings he pitched. He struck out all nine Pirates in the starting lineup and struck out the final seven batters he faced. He hit 100 mph on the radar gun twice.

However, it will probably take Ron Paul to get Bernanke to share his thoughts about Strasburg. When I asked the Fed what Bernanke's take was on Strasburg, they told me they "we're unable to provide a quote. "
