The Knicks:To LeBron James, Your Marginal Value Product is at Least a Billion Dollars in NYC (and only NYC)

The New York Knicks just completed their pitch to NBA free agent LeBron James.

According to Forbes blogger, Steve Bertoni, the Knicks commissioned the marketing consulting firm, Interbrand, to conduct a study of what James could earn through the rest of his NBA career, based on what city he chooses to play in.

Bottom line: For NYC, the numbers come in at $1 billion to $2 billion.

Interbrands full slide presentation is at the bottom of the Forbes story, here.
