Arrest of Giuliani's Daughter Results in Unusual High Level Police Activity

The elite and their families are, well, elite.

NY Daily News reports:

The daughter of former Mayor Rudy Giuliani was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon after she was accused of shoplifting at an upscale makeup store on the upper East Side, police sources said.

Caroline Giuliani, 20, was caught at Sephora about 3:30 p.m., sources said.

Surveillance video is being reviewed by police.
NyPo reports:

Caroline, the youngest of the former mayor’s two children, was taken to Manhattan’s 19th Precinct stationhouse for processing. She is a student at Harvard University.

[She] allegedly stole makeup from Sephora's E. 86th Street and Lexington Avenue store around 2 p.m., sources said.

Store managers insisted on pressing charges, and when officials discovered who the suspect was, several high-ranking officers were dispatched to the store, an unusual measure for a shoplifting charge.

  1. To the gallows with her. Lol...of course she will be found innocent and of course it was all just a mistake. And of course Daddy still has the key to the Executive wash room.

Of course of course of course.
