Since the Obama Administration moved into the White House, an independent bookstore, Reiter's Books, just three blocks from the White House, has closed.
Now, the Borders, of the nationwide bookstore chain, that is located just a block and a half from the White House, is also closing. I asked the clerks at the Borders, "How many stores in the chain are you closing?" They replied, "Just this one."
