Silicon Valley has been the only growth spot in the U.S. economy, during the current overall dismal period. Largely untouched by government, Silicon Valley has been left alone to compete and innovate. That's why it is disturbing news that Treasury Secretary Geithner will be in the Valley of the Relatively Free, next week.
Among other events, Geithner will hold a "conversation" at the Commonwealth Club, officially called: The State of the Economy: A Conversation with Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner.
The moderator will be Michael Moritz, Managing Member, Sequoia Capital.
The event will be held at Schultz Cultural Hall, Oshman Family JCC, 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto
