RSS Reader Recommendation

I have been using Bloglines as my RSS reader. Since they are ceasing operations, I have had to hunt for a new reader. I tried the Google reader, but to me it seemed clunky and not very intuitive.

After a bit of poking around, I came across Feedlooks. As far as I am concerned Feedlooks is the bomb. It's simple. presented clearly in an attractive format and most important for feeds like EPJ's where the RSS provides only a snapshot of the post, with one click  Feedlook, within its site, takes you to the complete post.

  1. Looks cool but who wants ANOTHER login to deal with/remember?

Cumbersome as it is (I agree... pretty unimpressive for a google product), I use GReader because it's the same login as my Google account, I can easily e-mail and share items from it with my Gmail account and can easily access it from my other Google accounts, including on my Android-based phone.

  2. I use the live bookmarks feature in Mozilla Firefox. Just create a live bookmark on the toolbar for all my favorite blogs and never have to leave my browser.

  3. Thanks.. I'll give it a go. I've been using Google reader myself and feel the same way (clunky and unintuitive).
