On Tuesday in Riga, Latvia, Deputy Treasury Secretary Neel Wolin will meet with Latvian officials to discuss Latvia’s efforts to push through ambitious reforms after suffering one of Europe’s worst economic declines last year.
In the morning, Deputy Secretary Wolin will meet with the Speaker of the Latvian Parliament and Latvian Parliamentary party leaders.
Later in the morning, the Deputy Secretary will attend a bilateral meeting with Latvian Central Bank Governor Ilmars Rimsevics, followed by a press conference at the Bank of Latvia.
In the afternoon, Deputy Secretary Wolin will travel to London. In the evening, the Deputy Secretary will meet with the Deputy Governor of Financial Stability Paul Tucker at the Bank of England.
