On Monday, Deputy Treasury Secretary Neal Wolin will be in Warsaw, Poland. In the morning, the Deputy Secretary will meet with Chair of the Prime Minister’s Economic Council and Former Prime Minister Jan Krzysztof Bielecki.
The Deputy Secretary then will join Leszek Balcerowicz, a Warsaw School of Economics professor who has previously served as Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and President of the National Bank of Poland, for a roundtable discussion with students and young economists on “Securing the Global Economic Recovery in the U.S. and Europe.” This event will be hosted by the Warsaw School of Economics.
Later in the morning, Deputy Secretary will meet with Polish Finance Minister Jacek Rostowski.
On Monday afternoon, Deputy Secretary Wolin will travel to Riga, Latvia.
In the evening, the Deputy Secretary will meet with Latvian Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis and Finance Minister Andris Vilks.
