ALERT: Elitist Bankers and Congressional Leadership are Plotting to Stop Ron Paul

With Republican control of the House, Ron Paul, as senior member of the House Financial Services subcommittee that oversees monetary policy, is scheduled to become chairman of that subcommittee .

The banking elitists that were thrown billions upon billions by Ben Bernanke and the Federal Reserve sure don't want the real supervision that Ron Paul would bring. And they are plotting.

Write Phil Mattingly and Robert Schmidt at Newsweek:
Officials at several major banks have privately raised concerns with Republican leaders that, by allowing Paul to become a chairman, his radical views would gain legitimacy, according to three bank lobbyists...Five GOP leadership aides, speaking anonymously because a decision isn't final, say incoming House Speaker John Boehner has discussed ways to prevent Paul from becoming chairman or to keep him on a tight leash if he does.
Mattingly and Schmidt continue:
If Boehner, who will help determine who gets to chair subcommittees as early as Dec. 8, rejects Paul, he may have to contend with thousands of grassroots supporters and dozens of younger lawmakers who see Paul as a hero. Boehner, through a spokesman, declined to comment.
If Boehner as much as takes away Paul's bathroom privileges, there is likely going to be serious hell to pay. There is no way Ron Paul's followers will take any messing around with Paul's chairmanship or the power that now comes to the subcommittee. All they need is a cause to rally around, and messing with Ron Paul would be such a cause. Boehner would be a very wise man to move on and pick on somebody that isn't principled and who doesn't have a following many, many times greater than those who participated in the original Boston Tea Party.

  2. If the Crony Capitalists conspire to prevent Dr. Paul's legitimate move to Chair of the House Financial Services subcommittee - it is likely to lead to the Tea Party leaving the Republican Party and forming a full fledged 3rd party.

The Repub Party Insiders are playing with fire if they think they can ignore the wishes of the Tea Party.

Since 2008, The Tea Party activists have learned a lot about the nuts and bolts of Party Politics. They form a cadre of committed and knowledgeable Activists who are now anything but amatuers.

  4. "Radical" views. You mean like the concept of borrowing more money to pay off an existing debt? Who has the "radical" views here, the guy who thinks we shouldn't spend more than we have, or the guy who thinks if we spend more than we have we can just make more?

  6. Simple.
    Make Ron Paul President.

  7. There's lots of code speak in that article. When they talk about the Fed's "independence," what they really mean is its ability to rip us off in secret. And they are worried that Paul will make a "mockery of the U.S. financial system?" How is that even possible?

All the right people are worried about Ron Paul getting the chairmanship, for us to know that he SHOULD get it.

  8. I voted for Ron Paul in 2008 and if he runs in 2012, I'll vote for him again.

    God Bless Ron Paul.

  10. The GOP is worse than the communists because they actually fool people into thinking they aren't tools of the elite.

  11. RON PAUL 2012 STRONG!!!

  12. If they screw with Ron Paul, it might be that popular defiance reaches that magical 10%. In 1776, only 10% of the US population openly and vigorously supported the Revolution. On the flip side of that coin, only 10% of the German population actively supported Hitler in 1933. So, if we hit that magical 10%, which result will we end up with?

  13. I wrote Congressman Boehner a little email "encouraging" him not to mess with Ron Paul getting the Chairmanship. If YOU would also like to offer YOUR "encouragement," you might do so by going to this link: http://gopleader.gov/Contact/default.aspx

I basically told him that the Republicans are on "probation," and that they have ONE chance to get this right, and if they don't work to restore the Constitution, our rights, and the Rule of Law, We the People will relegate the Republican Party to the ash bin of history.

  15. My friends,

There is only one hope left for America, and that is to sweep Ron Paul into the White House in the next election. In the meanwhile he should chair the Financial Committee. His leadership in that position would help to ensure that there is a country left in 2012 to hold an election.

The second head of the two-headed monster known as the two-party system, will attempt to stop him. Now you will see politics as usual and the other set of liars will be exposed. It will be the end of the current government, no matter what happens. There will be no easy way out of this, but if we do not change now, it will be over. The country is already lost. It is bankrupt. It is an empire which will collapse as all empires must and eventually do.

Our only hope is to restore a Constitutional Republic. It was our foundation and is the only way we will have a chance.

  17. Republicans? Restoring the rule of law?

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    (Gasping breath)

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Thats a good one. The truth is that the banksters will neuter Ron Paul in about 5 seconds flat, and the sheeple who back the Koch-funded Tea Parties will do nothing. And Paul will do nothing.

If Ron Paul is such a principled fellow, then why is he still working with the Republican party when its painfully obvious to everyone that the 2 Parties are both corrupt and lawless beyond redemption?

Answer: Because his "principles" are, too, an act. The banksters will make him an offer he cant refuse, and he will do nothing.

Face it people: The American Experiment is a failure. We need not wonder what it was like in Rome before the fall, for we live there now.

    Gods help us all.

  19. Actually, it was only 3% of the population that took an active part in the Revolution. If 3% can overthrow an oppressive king, what will it take in todays America to restore real liberty?

  21. Whether as Chairman of the House Financial Services subcommittee or potentially President of the U.S. in 2012, I wish Dr. Ron Paul the strength to withstand the forces to which too many U.S. Presidents, U.K. Prime Ministers and other European heads of state have acquiesced/submitted in the past century.

    God Bless Dr. Paul!

  22. Radical views? O you mean like adhering to the constitution? What's radical is all these democrats and neocons.

  23. He'd better steer clear of small planes.

  24. In 2010 we dumped the Democrats. In 2012 we will dump the remaining Democrats AND the bank-worshiping RINOs.
C'mon Boehner, do the right thing!

  25. To anon' who questioned Ron Paul's principles - you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

You don't even have the balls to post with your name, yet you call the most principled man in modern politics an 'act'?

Try looking closer. A lot closer.

  26. Ron Paul is really a Libertarian. Years ago he left the District of Criminals because he had had enough of the b.s. His constituency begged him to run again and he did so on the Libertarian ticket and beat his opponents (dem and repub) by a landslide.

If D.C. was run by people like Ron Paul we would never have gotten in the mess we are in. The only thing that scares me is that his life would be in danger. Anyone in power who has ever messed with the central banks has been murdered. The only person who survived an attempt on his life was Andrew Jackson who was a huge foe of central banking. If you want to see two excellent videos about why we are in a big financial mess and how we got there, watch The Secret of Oz http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/the-secret-of-oz/, and Aaron Russo's "America - Freedom to Fascism" http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1656880303867390173#

If you've never seen these documentaries, please watch them and then forward to everyone on your email list and ask them to do the same. Lots of people are behind the End the Fed program, but we can always use more.

  30. AGAIN the two party system screws us from both ends.

I hate Wall St, Big Banks, multi national corporations, war on Islam, big oil.

BUT if I vote Libertarian... they lose.

If I vote DEM .. I get gay judges overturning the electorate on gay marriage. The Dream Act.
Napolitano and her buzz cuts feeling me up at airports. Drivers licenses for Illegals.

Dems give me Obama care which dictates I buy insurance from the same demons who destroyed the industry... and MORE war on Islam because Dems are afraid of the Military industrial complex and Jews.

I have no party.. I have no government.

A pox on all of em.

I do not expect Mr. Paul to ascend in this environment.

  31. I always find myself agreeing with almost anything Paul says. I think it's because I'm beyond fed up with our lap dog congressmen terrified of disturbing the status quo, which means the wealthy continue to have their way. The war machine continues to suck everyone dry to produce 'a new generation of military hardware' so we can continue to engage and destroy small poor foreign countries who might be hiding the very dangerous and elusive (if he exists at all) Osama, who of course will never be caught and will die of old age. So let's stifle any voice of dissent in our government that might approach some kind of truth and let the tweedledee and tweedledum liars continue their rule. In the end, they will have all the power and money, and we will have our subcutaneous id/credit chips, our warrens of cubicles, and our daily duties serving our all-powerful, decadent masters. But don't worry. All Mart will provide us with all of our needs.

  32. I suspect the GOP leadership either does or will recognize that they cannot deny the chairmanship of the subcommittee to Rep. Paul. However, for Paul to have the impact he's hoping for, he will have to have subcommittee hearings and issue subpoenas. But it is unlikely that the rules of the Committee itself permit subcommittee chairmen free reign to do so. The key question is, who will be the chairman of the Financial Services Committee? After resigning themselves to Paul's chairmanship of the subcommittee, the GOP leadership will instruct that person to seek clearance from them for any subcommittee hearings.

    Heart attacks can be staged.
    Please protect him.

  34. I'm sure that every president since JFK has been vetted on why he met his demise and what he has to do and not do to avoid the same. I wonder if Ron Paul will get the same "word to the wise" upon his taking the chair?

    ReplyDelete
  35. As long as your voting they know they have you fooled. Do you want to REALLY scare Boehner? Stop voting. They would soon realize that you realize that the king has no clothes. Yhey'd be looking over their shoulder for the tar & feathers. If enough people did this, oh say 80% of eligible voters, they'd soon be writing laws that make it illegal to NOT vote. You see, they need your consent to enslave you. Hitler, Mussollini, & Stalin ALL required a ballot to get their agenda sanctioned by the mob.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Boehner needs to receive a few thousand calls that make it plain that if he robs us of our first chance in living memory to have an honest man in charge of the monetary policy subcommittee, then he WILL face a Tea Party opponent in his next re-election bid, and he WILL be defeated in the Republican primary just like those useless RINOs from Alaska and Utah were this time.

    ReplyDelete
  37. "We are not Ron Paul followers"

Precisely. Ron Paul does not have followers, he has supporters. He does not presume to tell anyone what to do, he merely sets a peerless example for others to emulate.

    ReplyDelete
  38. This just goes to show you where the "Republicans" are at. They have the same plans for us as the Democrats; just at a slower pace. We need to clean the rest of the elitist progressives out in 2010, regardless of party. And Dr. Paul MUST be allowed to oversee the fed. This country is not going to be able to heal and reset itself until everything is out in the open.

    ReplyDelete
  39. They prefer to live in lies rather than the truth - Good to have an honorable man like Dr.Paul who seek to inform the population on the truth of the Banksters and Crocs

    ReplyDelete
  40. Would you really want to listen to anyone with the last name of Boehner (!) anyway? I mean, come now......

    ReplyDelete
  41. If Boehner succeeds in keeping Paul from the Chairmanship, he'll be letting a turd too big to flush or hide. It'll be time for pichforks and torches, and the GOP will be destroyed by their own hand.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Those who criticize Ron Paul for being a Republican are fools. He is a Libertarian taking the only viable political course open to him in the corrupt two party system.

The fact that he is still an outsider in his own party speaks volumes about why he is exactly the man we need to elect.

Imagine our country with an honest monetary system, devoid of the central bank. Imagine the ending to the illegal IRS. Imagine a sane foreign policy.

If he is not elected in 2012, kiss yourselves goodbye.

  43. We should create a third party led by people who actually know who they are voting for and can see through washington's games and corruption. The people's party! This country is in serious trouble and we need leaders in government not criminals.
