In a Bloomberg interview, former Treasury Secretary Paul O’Neill rips GW for claiming in his book, Decision Points, that O'Neill only said behind his back that he was against tax cuts.
I reviewed O'Neill's book back in 2004. I find it hard to believe that Bush could not have been aware of O'Neill's view straight on. In fact, in my review, I write that O'Neill never seemed to talk about budget cuts, only about ways to increase revenues. That's where his mind was focused.
Anyway, in the Bloomberg interview,O'Neill is really steamed and seems to be only a hair away from calling GW an idiot. The clip is here.
