After the vote, demonstrators broke down a door into the Treasury and fought with police who were inside the building, a Reuters witness said. They chanted "we want our money back" as they clashed with officers before being driven back, Reuters reports.
A Reuters photographer was taken to hospital after he was hit in the face by a rock.
The lower house of parliament approved the plan by a majority of 21 votes.The plan is expected to go to a vote in the House of Lords, on Tuesday.
I believe one of the Royal Princes had his car attacked(he was unharmed) in this demonstration by highly dependent UK young people.
