A Busy Thursday for Geithner

On Thursday morning, Treasury Secretary Geithner will host a discussion with business leaders on employment trends, trade, tax reform and "strategies for strengthening U.S. competitiveness".

Also in the morning, the Secretary will attend the President’s Economic Daily Briefing at the White House.

Later, Secretary Geithner, HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan and other administration officials will meet with business leaders at Treasury to discuss housing finance reform.

In the afternoon, Secretary Geithner and Education Secretary Arne Duncan will meet with parents, students and educators from Woodrow Wilson Senior High School to discuss initiatives the Obama Administration has undertaken to make college more affordable for all Americans, including the American Opportunity Tax Credit.
