On Tuesday afternoon, Treasury Secretary Geithner will chair the next Financial Stability Oversight Council meeting in Treasury’s Cash Room. The close press session will begin at 1 PM ET; the open press session will begin at 1:45 PM EDT.
Later in the afternoon, the Secretary will attend the President’s Economic Daily Briefing at the White House.
Ahead of President Hu’s state visit, Secretary Geithner will meet Tuesday with Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan (His personal buddy). In the evening, they will hold a bilateral meeting followed by a working dinner.
