Ben Bernanke May Never Testify Before Ron Paul's Monetary Policy Subcommittee

During an interview with Larry Kudlow, Congressman Ron Paul, chairman on the House Monetary Policy subcommittee, told Kudlow that Bernanke would likely turn down invitations to testify before the subcommittee, since the Fed views Bernanke's testimony before the House full finance committee as sufficient.

  1. If that's the case, then there is no point in avoiding a campaign for 2012 (:-). But seriously...the subcommittee chairmanship is now nothing more than just a pulpit. And a presidential campaign would be a MUCH more effective pulpit. 2008 was just a warmup. Now is Ron Paul's time, more than ever.

  2. It's because Ron Paul is the only Congressman who would hold Bernanke accountable, and the Bernankster knows it and fears it.

then they laugh at you (2007-2008),
    then they fight you (2011),
    then you win (2012)."

  3. Just donated to Paul's Liberty PAC. He's apparently started a new impetus for exploring the options.
