More plotting Thursday afternoon. Treasury Secretary Geithner will chair the Financial Stability Oversight Council meeting in Treasury’s Cash Room. Only part of the meeting will be open to the press.
Established under the Dodd-Frank Act, the FSOC is chaired by Secretary Geithner and includes Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke as well as other key regulators, Mary Schapiro, from the Securities and Exchange Commission and Gary Gensler from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
