Orange County Hotel Rates Jump

More anecdotal evidence of wallets loosening and the demand to hold cash balances declining.

Colliers PKF reports that Orange County hotels in February saw average room rates at $138.19 per night — that is up 6.6% in a year (or $8.52 a night.) Meanwhile, 67.3% of Orange County hotel rooms were filled vs. 63.9% the year earlier, according to the Orange County Register.
