HOT: Strauss-Kahn Case Collapsing

NYT is reporting major dirt has been discovered on the maid who claims to be sexually attacked by DSK.

Notice the timing on this latest development. It comes two days after Christine Lagarde was officially appointed to replace DSK as head of the IMF.

The NYT story, now, makes the maid out to be a major underground operative:
Since her initial allegation on May 14, the accuser has repeatedly lied, one of the law enforcement officials said.

Senior prosecutors met with lawyers for Mr. Strauss-Kahn on Thursday and provided details about their findings, and the parties are discussing whether to dismiss the felony charges. Among the discoveries, one of the officials said, are issues involving the asylum application of the 32-year-old housekeeper, who is Guinean, and possible links to criminal activities, including drug dealing and money laundering...

Prosecutors from the office of the Manhattan district attorney, Cyrus R. Vance Jr., who initially were emphatic about the strength of the case and the account of the victim, plan to tell the judge on Friday that they “have problems with the case” based on what their investigators have discovered, and will disclose more of their findings to the defense...

According to the two officials, the woman had a phone conversation with an incarcerated man within a day of her encounter with Mr. Strauss-Kahn in which she discussed the possible benefits of pursuing the charges against him. The conversation was recorded.

That man, the investigators learned, had been arrested on charges of possessing 400 pounds of marijuana. He is among a number of individuals who made multiple cash deposits, totaling around $100,000, into the woman’s bank account over the last two years. The deposits were made in Arizona, Georgia, New York and Pennsylvania...

The investigators also learned that she was paying hundreds of dollars every month in phone charges to five companies. The woman had insisted she had only one phone and said she knew nothing about the deposits except that they were made by a man she described as her fiancé and his friends.
This explains the maid suddenly hiring her own dream team, which I noted in a post was odd:
Just wondering, but how does a hotel maid get the money to put together a global OJ Simpson  style legal Dream Team? And has any victim ever, anywhere in the world, assembled their own dream team, when they are already being represented by the prosecution?
One question I have raised and needs to be answered in full is how did this maid end up cleaning DSK's room? I have written:
I would be curious to know if this maid was working her regular schedule, whether this was the regular floor she worked on and anything normal or abnormal about her work on that day.

Daily Beast provided a partial answer:
The sources said the maid, described as a West African immigrant in her 30s, had normally been assigned to clean a different floor in the hotel but recently volunteered to take the floor where Strauss-Kahn's luxury suite was, after a colleague had gone on leave.

What needs to be known now is whether the maid made the request to change floors before or after DSK booked a room. If she did not make the request until after DSK booked the room, then my initial suspicions about a possible set up, appear much stronger.

  1. I feel like I'm living in a movie.

Question: Could any of her "backstory" been faked???

  2. This is a made for television movie. I have read elsewhere that Mr. Strauss-Kahn's arrest was a government organized set-up due to the fact that he had evidence that the gold in Fort Knox was not real gold, but gold-plated. Also how do you explain the arrest of another high-profile international official around the same time, on similiar charges?

  3. What does any of this backstory have to do with whether or not she was attacked by DSK, isn't that the issue?

  4. The IMF is one of the most disgusting, disingenuous banking cabals the world has ever seen and the propaganda in the media about the IMF being some kind of financial Savior to the world would be laughable if it weren't so widely accepted as truth. Sure, Strauss Kahn was most likely set-up by the woman and I don't feel an ounce of pity for the SOB. Just another mob boos who was knocked off by an underling.

  6. It makes you wonder what Kahn did or said to get attacked with such energy......

  7. What is puzzling about all this is, if this was a setup, why would the planners have been so careless as to use a woman with a credibility problem? Perhaps the intention all along was to ruin DSK politically but not to land him in jail.

If there was no setup and, as he insisted, the sex was consensual, why would the woman report a rape knowing that an investigation of her background could get herself deported or even jailed? Even if she was raped, why report it when doing so could make her life even more miserable knowing that an investigation of her background would uncover links to criminal activities? Perhaps she was blackmailed into having consensual sex with DSK and then reporting a rape.

  8. Maybe she is stupid and being used. The apparent drug money laundering could be her payments, which got her to do the deed while shielding the elites who set it all up.

Will we ever know the truth?

  9. A Grand Jury decided to indict based upon the evidence presented by the DA's office. What has changed? Nothing.

  10. This is a textbook (as in "botched"), CIA frame-up. It was known that DSK was actively moving toward replacing the dollar as the "world currency" which could not be allowed according to the current crime syndicate in Washington.

This will all go away now that Washington has their "man" in place at the IMF.

don;t you remember the Duke Lacrosse team "rape" case. why should every female criminal in the world be able to use an untruthful accusation to ruin lives?

No... your mistaken... check National Enquirer... space aliens under the direction of Elvis arranged this setup to keep DSK from exposing their operations, which would have a huge impact on Elvis record sales...

    sheesh....
