Mickey Mouse Inflation

Walt Disney World announced Friday afternoon that it is raising ticket prices for the second time in less than a year.

Effective Sunday, the base price of a one-day ticket will jump from $82 to $85 before tax, an increase of 3.7 percent.
The price of a five-day pass — one of Disney's most popular ticket options will climb 6 percent, from $237 to $251, plus tax.

In addition, the charge for adding a "park hopper" feature allowing visits to multiple Disney theme parks in a single day will rise from $54 per to $55 for all multi-day passes.

But this may not be inflation, there is that Paul Krugman view:

There’s really nothing here to shake my view that deflation, not inflation, is the threat.
